For long email threads, Sipher AI can generate a concise summary so you can catch up without reading every message.
How to summarise a thread
- Open any thread with multiple messages.
- Click the Summarise button (sparkle icon) in the thread header, or use the ⋯ → Summarise thread menu item.
- A summary panel slides in below the thread header with bullet points covering key decisions, action items, and participants.
What's included in a summary
- Key decisions made in the thread
- Action items and who they're assigned to
- Important dates and deadlines mentioned
- Overall status and next steps
Attachment analysis
For threads with PDF or document attachments, the summary can include a brief overview of attachment content. This is processed entirely on SipherMail's servers.
Privacy
Thread content is sent to SipherMail's self-hosted AI servers for processing. It is not stored by the AI system and is never forwarded to third-party AI providers.
