Account Settings

Access all settings via the Settings icon in the sidebar (bottom left) or by going to /settings.

Profile

Display name — Shown in From: headers and in replies.
Profile photo — Used as your avatar across the app.
Email signature — HTML or plain-text signature appended to new emails.
Time zone — Used for scheduled send and reminder times.

Connected accounts

Add external email addresses via IMAP/SMTP or OAuth. Go to Settings → Connected Accounts → Add Account. You can have multiple email addresses active simultaneously and switch between them in the compose window.

Notifications

Configure how SipherMail alerts you to new email:

Push notifications — On mobile (requires app installed and permissions granted).
Desktop notifications — Browser push notifications on web (opt-in).
Badge count — Unread count on app icon.
Quiet hours — Suppress notifications during defined hours.

Privacy settings

Image proxy — Images load through SipherMail's privacy proxy by default, hiding your IP from senders.
Read receipts — Disabled by default. Enable if you want senders to know when you've opened emails.
Tracking pixel blocking — Enabled by default. Strips tracking pixels from incoming HTML emails.

Keyboard shortcuts

View and customise keyboard shortcuts via Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts or press ? anywhere in the app.

Delete account

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and removes all data within 30 days. Download your data first via Settings → Export Data.
